Murderous Newcastle Tour

Take a deep dive into the darker side of the Toon’s past with this walking tour from Newcastle City Guides!

Rich in history, Newcastle has endured many turbulent times – some dying violent deaths and their murderers being hanged in the Gallows Hole, and others escaping their fate and murderers evading the clutches of the law.

Starting at the Castle Keep, you’ll hear of famous local murders from times gone by on this fascinating but grisly tour!

This tour is free but tickets must be reserved.

Please meet your tour guide at the Castle Keep. The tour starts at 10:30am and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
