Play Rebellion

Two children playing on colourful foam blocks in an outdoor green space

NE1’s free outdoor play space Play Rebellion makes a welcome return to Old Eldon Square this summer offering tonnes of creative fun for little ones.

The brainchild of artist Pippa Hale, Play Rebellion is an artistic play exhibition made up of colourful foam cubes that kids can break down into different shapes to climb on and create their own play structures.

It’s fun, free and perfect for unleashing kids’ creativity!

Play Rebellion will be in place at Old Eldon Square from 22nd July to 1st September and will be open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sundays.

It's free to attend and no booking is required. Play sessions last for 30 minutes with a maximum of 15 children per session.

Filming and photography may take place for promotional purposes.
